I have a question though, can you store game saves on a USB drive on the PS3 in case your HDD goes bad you always have a backup? I don't own a PS3 and that's why I'm asking.

That might have been true with their older games but Crysis 3 runs like butter on my system and that's @1440p. Crysis 3 is heavily optimized. Looks like their entry to console gaming helped them rethink their development approach.
First version of the game to get leaked and pirated is the PS3 version and that's why RockStar won't release it for PC!
